Meningkatkan Kesiapan Kerja Digital Siswa Melalui Pelatihan Microsoft Word di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta

This community service program aimed to strengthen students' digital work readiness through structured Microsoft Word training at MAS Raudlatul Ulum Ledokombo Jember. The activity employed a participatory, hands-on training approach conducted over two sessions on April 7–8, 2025, each lasting two hours. The participants were 15 students in grades XI and XII, comprising 8 females and 7 males. Data were collected through observation, practical assignments, documentation, and a four-point evaluation rubric. The findings showed that all evaluated aspects reached the very high category, with digital self-confidence obtaining the highest mean score of 3.63. Students were able to format documents, prepare formal letters, insert tables and images, and complete basic administrative documents more independently. Collaborative learning also helped overcome the limitation of available computer facilities. In conclusion, structured, practice-based Microsoft Word training can effectively improve technical skills, self-confidence, and digital work-readiness among madrasa students.

Abstrak: Kesiapan kerja digital adalah kompetensi praktis yang dibutuhkan siswa untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik dan administratif dalam lingkungan berbasis teknologi. Tujuan Pengabdian: Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kesiapan kerja digital siswa melalui pelatihan Microsoft Word yang terstruktur di MAS Raudlatul Ulum Ledokombo, Jember. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pelatihan partisipatif berbasis praktik langsung yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7-8 April 2025 dalam dua kali pertemuan, dengan masing-masing pertemuan berdurasi dua jam. Peserta terdiri dari 15 siswa kelas XI dan XII, yang terdiri dari delapan siswi perempuan dan tujuh siswa laki-laki. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, penugasan praktik, dokumentasi, dan rubrik evaluasi berskala empat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua aspek yang dievaluasi mencapai kategori sangat tinggi, dengan kepercayaan diri digital memperoleh nilai rata-rata tertinggi sebesar 3,63. Siswa mampu memformat dokumen, menyiapkan surat resmi, menyisipkan tabel dan gambar, serta menyelesaikan dokumen administratif dasar secara lebih mandiri. Pembelajaran kolaboratif membantu mengatasi keterbatasan fasilitas komputer. Pelatihan Microsoft Word yang terstruktur dan berbasis praktik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, kepercayaan diri, serta kesiapan digital di kalangan siswa madrasah.
